We are tenants, unemployed and working individuals from Neukölln, Berlin. That means we have constant stress with our landlords, authorities and work, such as rent increases, sanctions from the employment office or bad working conditions. Alone we are helpless – together it is way easier to pick up the fight. We support one another in doing paperwork, or going together to appointments. In order to put pressure on those causing our stress we also make public actions: a manifestation in front of the store of a boss that doesn’t want to pay, or with twenty people in the Jobcenter to demand our money.
For us solidarity in the everyday means to be against discrimination, racism and right-wing provocation.
